This may be the shortest post ever.
No commentary needed.
You want to see her in the senate?
You want to see her on the Red Carpet?
What must the rest of the world think of us. Is this going on in other countries? Not America Bashing but are we alone in this. I walk around from one meeting to the next, one shoot to the next, and I look at the other people (in the 104 degree heat), and I’m just not seeing this. Yet there it is – on TV – almost every night.
You know what they say. If you want to hide something – hide it in plain sight.
So I’m in a meeting today and I commented on the adorable pictures on the desks and walls of a little girl and mention my own (btw I just uploaded a whole bunch of new pics to http://www.sofiamclane.com). The conversation during the meeting turned to data-centric content strategies and the whole concept of building your own network (BYON), social commerce, etc. (see previous post on BBC show re Digital Mayhem – and download that podcast before it’s gone). And I wondered. What kind of network my daughter (as well as the other woman with the cutie pie in the room’s) would build. What will they want to see.
How far ahead of us are they going to be in 10 or 15 years? It’s the rocket ship analogy.
One rocket ship leaves earth in 1989 and another with newer technology leaves 20 years later. It won’t be long until the latter leaves the former in the dust (if the former can even make it out of the solar system much less the next star).
I just missed Alex Rodriguez hit his second homer of the game against the Oakland A’s, and am not paying attention to the World Cup but thank goodness it’s going to be another sweltering day tomorrow which means, no meeting my sister who’s in from France in Central Park.
Everyone’s picking Spain. But Spain – as good as their defense is – will NOT stop the German onslaught.
