I have meetings tomorrow and Wednesday so hopefully I wont be away too long. Another quick thing – GCMP.tv is actually BACKED UP on content – we have several dozen clips that have been delivered for encoding and I’m doing the best I can. Add to that I have 3 or 4 shoots coming up.
For fun I am working on my film MEN WHAT CAN YOU DO? Adding lots of new footage and thinking about submitting it to the BUSHWICK FILM FESTIVAL this year (We’re a Sponsor).
You Can Check out a Clip here – Music by the great pianist Jan August.
Remember one of the great things that will never be replaced by all this technology. I was with someone today from an outfit called Political Cable Advertising that REALLY impressed me and tried to get an amen on all the IPTV stuff but when I said 2 years – he said more like 5 to 10. I’m actually optimistic on this one so lets hope for 3-5.
But the bottom line is that you’re never going to replace the experience of “going to the movies” and laughing, crying, or being scared – with a room full of people.
The internet wont do that for you – neither will your 50 inch Plasma.
Meanwhile here’s a clip from the comedy Men What Can You Do – which is getting a facelift – and MAY be coming to a theater near you…. in Brooklyn…. in Bushwick…..
